The XXVIII Nordic-Baltic Congress of Entomology will be held in
Lithuania on the 2nd – 7th of August, 2010. The
Congress will be held in Birštonas by the the banks of the Nemunas river
inside the Nemuno Kilpos Regional Park (Central Lithuania). The Nemunas
River, one of the largest rivers of the Baltic region, is characterised
by a generally straight valley and Great Nemunas Loops near the
Birstonas Resort. The Park provides excellent possibilities for
collecting and observing arthropods in different types of habitats.
The Congress is organised by the Lithuanian Entomological Society.
All Nordic and Baltic scientists and students, also our colleagues from
other countries doing research in entomology are heartly welcomed to the
Congress. Besides insects, the congress covers also other terrestrial
